My new favorite French restaurant -

I am updating my review because I had a really nice experience here tonight. We had great service and my meal was tasty. I ordered the New York strip steak and it was cooked to my liking. It was a large piece of meat and I left over some because I could not eat so much. I wish it came with more than just two pieces of broccoli though. I also ordered a caesar salad to start and that was really good. It was a perfect size and had just the right amount of dressing on it. My friend ordered their flank steak. I had a bite and that was good as well.
The atmosphere here is definitely cozy. I could see where it has a French restaurant type of atmosphere. The lighting is very dim. There are probably not more than 20 tables in this restaurant. I live within walking distance of this restaurant. So I always think of this restaurant as kind of interesting and ironic that it is literally 3 minute walk from my house. Everybody I know that has eaten here absolutely loves it. I definitely liked it better on this occasion than the other times I have been here.
I must give credit to the owner of La Brochette Bistro. I have never spoken to him but I recognize him from probably 20 years ago or so when he opened this restaurant. I think it is amazing that he can keep a restaurant going in this little shopping center by my house for all these years. It really says something about the quality and taste of his food that keeps loyal customers coming back. -

We make reservations almost every Tuesday at this restaurant. We love going on this day because it's complimentary corkage and it's worth spending the money on the most appetizers as possible! We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and much more here. It is a small location hidden gem in a shopping center. My favorite is the octopus appetizer and the Chilean sea bass. I went this past visit and had cilantro soup from the special of the day menu. WOW! Delicious soup. The chicken schnitzel is my usual go to with pasta. Very yummy. The escargot appetizer is a must try! Definitely worth saving your appetite for this dinner. The meal always starts with delicious rolls and butter with honey! Absolutely delicious. Great food, great service, and great company is the perfect combination for this location.

The moment you walk in you are greeted by a magnificent hostess. Dim lighting and wonderful table service. They place a cloth on your lap and bring you water, bread, and butter with honey. The octopus with garlic butter is euphoric. The chicken Schnitzel a must before you Die and the kimchi with pork belly is by far one of if not thee best. You need to come here. I guarantee you won't regret it.

I have come here a couple of times and was always happy with my dinner.
Food:
If you are a duck lover, you can never go wrong with that. Either you want the duck fillet or half of duck with bones, the duck is always a good choice.
Im a escargot lover, not impress with their escargot.
I was in a big party and we ordered a couple of appetizers. The cheese with pistachio with a grape inside was a win.
They have good selection of wine.
Decor/ ambiance:
It is a family oriented restaurant and not the trendy Brickell/ SOBE type of place so be aware. People go dressed up nicely and it is usually order audience. Perfect to take the parents or grandparents to have a nice meal, without overspending.
Service:
It is French, só food will take time to cook. The waiters are friendly and attentive. But ready to wait for your meal.
Wow factor:
The duck is a must there.
Overall:
I had a good time the three times I have been there.
